September 11th 2012

Here we are again at another September 11th... just wanted to say I was thinking about all tose people who lost their lives in New York and other places. Oh how many sorrows the Devi and his minins cause. We must have more charity more of the pure love of Christ. We must learn to love and lift and strengthen, learn to change our unkind thoughts and actions to ones of kindness and civility.  We must learn to lift and leave judging to some one who knows everything. I know none of us can achieve perfection in this life but may each of us be a ray of hope and look forward to that day when the Lord is our King, and peace rains supreme.
I've been reading about faith recently in my scripture study and it reminds me how much sorrow and horror and misery are in the world and how very very important is is for us to have faith and trust in the Lord's plan. I am reminded of a quote from a friends dad

"It all works out in the end and if it hasn't worked out then it isn't the end."

I sit here looking at buying our house and can see the Lord's hand. My impatience to get the loan processed right then and there but the Lord had us wait a little while and we are getting a better interest rate. And we should be paying about $30 a month less. I am realizing more and more that if we are to find joy in this life that we must learn to trust. We may falter at times but I hope we can continue forward in faith. The day will break and the darkness of uncertainty will flee. What  a beautiful gift faith is... I hope and pray we each will use that gift and find the joy the Lord wants to give each of us.

"It is this principle, my brethren and sisters, that points us heavenward, that gives us hope in the battle of life. When we become confused, and find ourselves confronted by obstacles we, seemingly , cannot overcome, having faith in the Redeemer of the world, we can go to Him and know that our prayers will be answered for our good."

A House.... Home Sweet Home

So our latest big news WE ARE BUYING A HOUSE!!!! It amazes me how the Lord works things out! We make our own plans and suddenly the Lord gives you something better! Our plan was simply to pay off student and so a house was about 3 years away still but here we are. We were planning on just moving into a 3 bedroom  apartment but realized that is would be the same if not a little less to buy a house. So we started our search… the bank suggested the BEST realtor ever, his name is Ron Arnold and he has been absolutely great! So for three months we have been looking at different houses and finally decided to expand our search and look at two houses in a city called St Anthony. The first one we looked at Dan just LOVED it  but we still looked at the other one and size wise really liked it but it needed more improvements. So that was Thursday, Friday we put in an offer Friday at 4- 4:30ish and our realtor called us Friday night at 10:15 and told us they accepted out offer as is!!!!! He got us the corner table that fits perfectly, a window AC, and the dishwasher! And they are paying closing costs. WOW It has all worked out better than we ever could have expected!!! So in a month from now we could be living in our own house!!!! :)

What an amazing thought that I will soon be able to say home sweet home and that it will be MY home. My very own space!!!

I will try to get some picture of the house when I go and visit in about a week and 1/2 when my WONDERFUL Mother in Law is coming!!! I tried to put the ones from the MLS site but it wouldn't let me save the post, sadly,  but we are REALLY EXCITED!!!! Not where we expected to be city wise or house wise but the Lord is AMAZING!!!!
