September 11th 2012

Here we are again at another September 11th... just wanted to say I was thinking about all tose people who lost their lives in New York and other places. Oh how many sorrows the Devi and his minins cause. We must have more charity more of the pure love of Christ. We must learn to love and lift and strengthen, learn to change our unkind thoughts and actions to ones of kindness and civility.  We must learn to lift and leave judging to some one who knows everything. I know none of us can achieve perfection in this life but may each of us be a ray of hope and look forward to that day when the Lord is our King, and peace rains supreme.
I've been reading about faith recently in my scripture study and it reminds me how much sorrow and horror and misery are in the world and how very very important is is for us to have faith and trust in the Lord's plan. I am reminded of a quote from a friends dad

"It all works out in the end and if it hasn't worked out then it isn't the end."

I sit here looking at buying our house and can see the Lord's hand. My impatience to get the loan processed right then and there but the Lord had us wait a little while and we are getting a better interest rate. And we should be paying about $30 a month less. I am realizing more and more that if we are to find joy in this life that we must learn to trust. We may falter at times but I hope we can continue forward in faith. The day will break and the darkness of uncertainty will flee. What  a beautiful gift faith is... I hope and pray we each will use that gift and find the joy the Lord wants to give each of us.

"It is this principle, my brethren and sisters, that points us heavenward, that gives us hope in the battle of life. When we become confused, and find ourselves confronted by obstacles we, seemingly , cannot overcome, having faith in the Redeemer of the world, we can go to Him and know that our prayers will be answered for our good."
